To work to be a better person every day, to be a better professional, to finish my business administration career at BCTC and to continue to nurture my spirituality.
Dance and physical activity:
Exercising makes me feel agile, light. It’s a great way to relieve stress, because there’s no denying that every day we deal with difficult things. Physically I feel healthy. I feel like I could reach the stars with my hands if I put my mind to it. Exercising doesn’t only help me physically but mentally it makes me feel, and gives me the confidence, that I can achieve many things, attain life’s goals.
Advice to the Latina Woman:
That you don’t stop believing in your culture, the Latino culture, that you continue representing your culture in the best way. I know that it is easy to come to a new country and to become accustomed to living another way of life but don’t lose your roots, always maintain them, with your children, to pass them to future generations. That they hold their culture in high esteem.
